When I initially load the project, everything appears to be fine. I can create and save VIs with no trouble.
However, if I go to one of my classes and try to create a VI for override from the base class, I cannot save that VI, and from then on, I cannot save ANY VI anywhere in the project.
Once LabVIEW is in this state, when I try to save a VI that has changes, nothing happens. No error message, nothing. The asterisk remains on the title bar of the VI.
This looks like a rather severe bug in LabVIEW 2024 Q1.
Anyone else seeing this?
EDIT:
After completely exiting LabVIEW and re-launching, the problem seems to be resolved. Previously, I had only closed and re-opened the project, and that did not resolve it, but terminating LV and re-launching did.
At least for now. I suspect it will recur when I re-do the things that made it happen in the first place.

I can confirm this issue (for LabVIEW2023Q3).
Workaround also seems to be to save the class which then asks you to save all unsaved new files within it. Which then works.
