LabVIEW 2023 Q1

Hi, We recently purchased a LabVIEW 2023 Q1. I am looking for a waveform measurement VI in the program menu (Analog Waveform VIs and Functions , Signal Processing VIs). These options are missing in our 20223 Q1 Labview can someone help me with this issue. I need to do a FFT of a spectrum. I have attached a picture for your view.

Which version of LabVIEW did you get?  Base, Full, Professional?  Base is missing a lot of signal analysis functions, such as these.

Can you check the LabVIEW directory to see if the files exist there?

<vi.lib>\measure\maspectr.llb

If you have the right edition and the files are in the directory, can you go to Tools ► Advanced ► Edit Palette set... and then choose "Reset to default" to see if they show up?

Welcome to the new (and confusing) "naming" of LabVIEW Versions.  LabVIEW 2023 Q1 would, in previous years, be called "LabVIEW 2022 SP1".  It would "make logical sense" for it to consist of an equivalent "complete updated/patched set of LabVIEW 2022 software", which would imply that you could (in principle) install it on a PC that has no NI software already installed and it would "act like" an updated/patched version of LabVIEW 2022, with all the tools, modules, drivers, etc. in place, but this is a whole new Ballgame with NI, and who knows what this means?  [It will get even more interesting when NI decides to stop supporting a product, such as happened a few years ago with NI Motion ...].

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I see the files maspectr.llb, and I also tried to restore default values. but still the options did not show up. Ours is a Base version.

Hi krishna,

So you better check what's included in the Base edition and what is reserved for the more expensive editions!
