LabVIEW Example Finder Error 2: "LabVIEW: Memory is full"

Solved!
Go to solution

New to LabVIEW here. I recently installed LabVIEW 2017 (32 bit on 64 bit Windows 10 OS), and tried to access the Example Finder from the Help menu, but every time I have done so, I get the attached error message.

Restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling have had no effect. I do not have any VIs open when attempting to open the Example Finder. I'm not sure if LabVIEW has the proper amount of memory allocated to it, or if I'm missing a package or driver.

I don't think this is a Memory Full error, it's just somehow the Error 2 code number got crossed with an internal LabVIEW error code number. See this article for an explanation but not a fix:

I'd follow the path shown in your executable and make sure the file it's trying to launch is in there. It sounds like you may not have installed the LabVIEW examples somehow.
