LabVIEW Subscription and Perpetual Licenses Now Available

@Gregory  - this isn't yet available.  We are currently working on all of the other products and plan to release perpetual options of them with the next major software release in Feb 2025.

Hello, Eric.

Speaking as both an Academician (Professor Emeritus) and a user of the (still amazing) myRIO, I'm praying/hoping/begging for one last release of the myRIO Software Toolkit.

I'm very aware that the myRIO itself is at "end-of-life" and will stop being sold in 2025 (which is why we just purchased six of them!).  However, you still need the myRIO Software Toolkit to load NI's Real-Time Linux software on the myRIO, and the most recent version, myRIO Software Toolkit 2021 (which became available in 2022, the same day as LabVIEW 2022 was released) is due to go "out of support" shortly.

A more serious problem is that Windows 10 is going away, and possibly 32-bit LabVIEW, as well.  I've already discovered that I cannot build "ordinary" (no Real-Time or RIO) Executables with LabVIEW 2021 SP1 (32-bit) on a Windows 10 (64-bit) system that can be installed on a Windows 11 machine.  I've just installed LabVIEW 2024 (64-bit) on my Windows 10 machine, and hope to try building and deploying an Executable to a Windows 11 machine tomorrow.

As I recall, NI products (including the myRIO) played prominent roles in the FIRST Robotics competitions, and myRIOs were also prominent in the Academic Day Forum that used to be a well-attended feature of what was then called NI Week (until the move from August to May, which made travel, especially from Europe, difficult for faculty).  So there are still numerous myRIOs out there begging to be "usable" once Windows 10 vanishes.
