LabVIEW is Crash

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello Everyone,

I'm encountering difficulties with LabVIEW. My current version is LabVIEW 2017, and it was functioning smoothly until I attempted to update LAVA pallets and make some other upgrades using VI Package Manager. Unfortunately, ever since that attempt, I have been unable to open LabVIEW, and every time I run the .exe file, it crashes and displays an error message. Even after attempting to reinstall the software, the issue persists. I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance from anyone who may have encountered a similar problem or knows how to resolve this issue. Your assistance would be invaluable to me.

Can you be a bit more specific.?

What exe are you running that causes that crash?

You claim you use LabVIEW 2017 but the crash report is during a LabVIEW 2014.0.1 DAbort.  (And that shows you are missing critical patches in 2014!)

hi,

I am using LabVIEW 2017 Sp1, whenever I try to open my LabVIEW.exe it crashes, initially I was having the error attached in earlier post (found similar post online). some time error appears sometimes it just crash when software tries to initialize.

1 ) I tried to run as an administrator aswell didn't work
2) tried to install latest patch file didn't work

followed several steps mentioned in below link, couldn't manage to find the problem.

did you submit the report to NI? If you click "view report", is there anything interesting?

  • You need to allow access for NIER not LabVIEW to send NI Error Reports to NI
  • I am still unclear what app you are launching. That LabVIEW Licensing Wizard screen looks nothing like the LabVIEW Splash screen that launches when you run LabVIEW.exe to open the 2017 LabVIEW IDE.
