Labview 2017 does not launch

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi everyone,

I had Labview 2017 and NI DAQ drivers 17 installed and very well working in my development computer. A month ago I installed the latest NI DAQ drivers which installed the Package Manager I think. Labview does not properly work and I decided to uninstall the NI DAQ drivers and to revert to the version 17.

Now Labview does not launch at all. I reinstalled Labview and I licensed it, but still does not working.

Please advize me what to do.

Thank you,

Virginia

Hi Virginia_Solomon,

Based on this compatibilities article you should install 19.x or 20.x version NI-DAQmx driver to make them compatible.

For more information follow the article I have linked.

I hate the package manager.  It always wants you to uninstall everything no matter what it is you are uninstalling.

A lot of work, uninstalling everything, then the proper order installing software and drivers allows the LABview to work. I agree that package manager should not do stopping the Labview not working.

Thank you for help.
