Hi
Acronyms is an American thing. I don't know how it started. Probably IEEE or the DOD is to blame. Sorry for the use of Acronyms.
I attach a 35 page Wikipedia PDF file related to IT concepts. Just acronyms, no explanation. Amazing. It is surely already out of date.
Related to Photogrammetry ( nothing NI related ) I have a 150 pages document just explaining Acronyms within that field.
NI is no stranger to invent their own concepts/acronyms. Just think of 'legacy'. They use it liberally to reference anything older than a few years. Without ever defining the exact meaning.

Thank you for all the responses thus far! I am waiting for my client (I'm an internal ECAD admin) response on the install matter.
Sorry for the RMB acronym - I'm a grandfather who texts with my grandkids and constantly looking up acronyms 🙂
