I just downloaded Labview 2023 Q3 Community Edition and for some reason it still requires a license or serial number. I am currently on the 7 day free trial.
I have a myRIO-1900 with me but the serial number doesn't seem to work on registration. I thought the Community Edition was supposed to be free? Is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks

Yes, the CommunityEdition is free - but you still need a license.
Read the installation manual - I guess NI provides that: you need to log in with your community account, then download the CE, then install the CE and activate it with the credentials of your community account!
(Tl,dr: RTFM… 😉 )

Fun Fact:
The first edition of LabVIEW to use the subscription model was LabVIEW Community Edition. At the time, I thought this was highly unusual; now I see it was a harbinger of things to come.
The new licensing paradigm was a total nightmare, but it seems we were Guinea Pigs so that by the time they rolled out the licensing scheme for real, most of the bumps would be smoothed over.
