Labview LVlibs getting overwriten with old version out of the blue

Hi
so i have this issue that suddenly some of my LVLib's shows up in an old version in by project
and this is supper annoying as i have a couple of 100 variables with different setting in them

when i save the lib after editing i select the lib and select "save all (this library)" and also save by project save all
this time the old libs showed up after a forced windows reboot of my developing computer
lab view is usually kept open all the time but i did make a test where i saved and closed Labview and actually opened op the project on another computer, and it looks like those libs are fine and i am not sure if i did that work around with the libs i now found out have old settings

I run labview 22q3 because i found some bugs in LV23 and LV24 on CRIO-9047 in the "scan engine" that would trigger a case where the chassic gets unavalble and need manual reboot and then a issue with "modbus I/O-servers" did not work at all

My LV project is backed up with one drive and hopefully an older version contains the right settings of the libs
but i really cant work with this odd behavior never knowing if something has been changed

anybody got a clue on whats going on here ?  could it be the one drive or perhaps something with the recovery i was not ask to open a recovery file when open up labview after the windows reboot

That might not be it, but this reminds me of this bug where "Save All (this Project)" and "Save All (this Library)" do not actually save a library because it was not "marked as modified":

https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Is-it-just-me-or-does-save-all-not-actually-save-all/td-p/4386328

To make sure the changes made to your library are saved, right-click your library > Save > Save.

This will force save the library even if it is not "marked as modified".

I would advise you to report this to NI:

Raphaël.

thanks for the answer

"!right-click your library > Save > Save"  diffidently saves the library it looks like file date is being modified
lets see if that fixes it

and it looks like there might be an issue with labview not marking changed libs as modified in case variable settings has been changed like scaling values modified
