Labview program problems

I recently had a problem with A labview program I am using.

Originally I used a program that was written in Labview 7 to collect data.

A second labview program written in labview 8.2 then would open the data file and resave the dta file in an excell readable format.

I recently hd prob;ems with a 'missing sub vi' which I managed to fix thanks to the the help from a memeber of this forum (Stephen).

The original program that collects data now works in labview 8.0, but the program that was used to convert data does not work. There are no error code, it just doest open the data (which would be displayed on the screen) and saves an empty file.

Can anyone help me with this? I can send you the Vi for both programs if it helps.

Thankyou,

Sarah

The NA-QCM-VISA is the program that runs in labview 8.0 and collects data writing to a file.

The 3 QCM fit program is the program that converts the data and saves to a file that can be opened by Excell.

Before the problem with the missing sub vi the program would write to a file ( eg 1650.dat file - attached) which opens succesfully with the QCM fit program

The PVOH file is a file from the collection program since the sub vi was fixed - and will not run on the conversion program.

However since fixing the file from the collection of data saves but does not open up.

Please do not place files on an external server. Attach the files directly to your message using the "Attachments" section. If you need to attach more than 3 files then put them into a zip archive. Thanks.

Hello, As no "New Message" button appears on ANY page of mine I'll post here my problem that I have encountered. I have an NI9237 and I am attempting to read an MTS Displacement Gage with it. As the 632.06H Displacement gage is essentially a half-bridge this is my configuration. I have 2 sets of known calibration values that I am trying to use and I keep getting error 200077 AI.Max (or AI.Min) is out of range. I adjust to the range LabView specifies and I get another error that lowers the range again, and again, and again, etc. Any input would be appreciated. My Gage factor is: 2.82 Resistance: 350 Vex: 5 Initial V should be 0 Calibrated range is 19.24m to -19.37m Thanks

Are you saying that there is no "New message" link in the upper left of this page? If you click it, you get instructions on how to start a new thread.

If the link is really missing, please report it in the feedback forum and be prepared to include as much information as possible (browser version, os, etc.)

Don't tack onto an ongoing unrelated discussion. That is very impolite.
