Labview using visual basic

Hi, i want to be able to read data back from a instrument. The instrument uses Visual basic.net, to pull data out and display it. I was wondering if i can use Labview to pull this data out e.g. analog out, ion current values etc. using the .net functions in Labview. Has anybody got some reasonably advanced examples?

There are .NET examples that ship with LabVIEW. Have you taken a look at these? What kind of instrument is it? Model number? Is the .NET code an example, or is it an actual library that can be used?

Hi, had a look at the examples. But pretty basic, Its a mass spec, i think it has a library that can be used.

Well, there are plenty of other .NET examples. Did you try a search?

You think it has a library. What does the documentation say? Or, are you expecting me to be able to magically determine what you have by telepathy?
