This could definitly be a problem with your seriel port.  Have you been able to test it in Hyperterminal?

Hello,

You said you were communicating with a robot, what device are you communicating with (model #)?

Hi Eric,

I communicate a PIC 18F2520 with the LabVIEW 2009.

The communication of the device with Matlab run very good. I don't know why, perhaps because the opening of the port by Matlab works differently than VISA.

My questions too is why the communication in the MAX of LabVIEW doesn't work and I get the same error BFFF006C in the warning box.

Best Regards

You've been trying unsuccessfully for more than half a month to get an answer from them. It hasn't worked, and it probably won't. You might have to approach your problem from a different dirrection.

Hello,

I noticed you starting posting in another forum about this particular error.

Error VISA: (BFFF006C) and (BFF006B)

The other forum advised you to run a loopback test on your device, have you done so already? If not, use the following link as a reference on completing the loopback tests.

Loopback Test

Hi Eric,

I tested already with Hyperterminal and with the MAX of LabVIEW. On Hyperterminal I receive data without problems but on the MAX I get the same error BFFF006C.

I tested already too with a example of LabVIEW and I get the same error.

Ricardo.

Hi,

I had this problem. Increasing the TimeOut setting solved that problem.

Suitable BufferSize might be adjusted as well.
