I received a USB with the LabVEIW SE software loaded on it from NI. The USB has both Linux and Mac folders on it. I am running Ubuntu x64 architecture and tried to use the Linux iso. I extracted from the iso and saw an INSTALL file, which after reading the README seems to be the executable for installing. I tried the "./INSTALL" command in the terminal and got the following error message:
"Sorry, LabVIEW is not currently available for this O/S and architecture. Visit http://www.ni.com/support/ to search the knowledge base or http://www.ni.com/ask/ to obtain e-mail tech. support."
I couldn't find any knowledge so I am posting here. I want to know how to install it or what I am doing wrong? If you need any more information please let me know, and I will provide that.

A question and a suggestion. Question: What does the "SE" in your title mean? Suggestion: I found a thread in this very Forum from around 2010 talking about the problem of installing LabVIEW on 64-bit Ubuntu -- apparently the libraries (at that time, and possibly still now) were all designed for 32-bit OSes.
I don't much about u**x and its derivatives, but this seems to be a long-standing (and possibly solved) issue. Try doing a Web search for "What version of LabVIEW runs on Ubuntu Linux 64" -- I found the Forum article using this search.
