Make a print out of a printscreen

Hi there,

I want to make the following function:

I have a program that is running.

In that program I want to make a button for printscreen and a button for print.

When pushed on the printscreen button, I want to save a printscreen.

And when pushed on the print button, I want to print the screen on the printer.

Greetz,

Kenny

OK.... So what are you having problems with? The VI Server has the Print:Panel to Printer method that you can use.

Hi smercurio_fc,

I found that function.

But when I want to print by pushing the print button, I get the file that you can see in the attachment.

Regards,

Kenny

Were you using a PDF printer driver? Have you tried printing to an actual printer? Some PDF printer drivers do not render graphics very well.

I first tried to print it on paper.

But when I saw that it went wrong, I switched to printing with PDF to save paper.

What exactly "went wrong"?

It didn't print the page.

The attachment in my previous post was what also the printer did.

So that went wrong.

Do you got any idea what the problem can be?

Can you post your VI (the actual VI, not an image of it)? Do you have some sort of graphic on the front panel?

Hi,

This is the VI that I am using.

I don't know if you can Run it because it has some things build in for our scada-system.

But you can give it a try, and maybe you can find the problem.

The part that I build in to print the page is almost at the right.

Remember, I just want to print a screenshot of the page.

I don't want to print all the block diagram etc. etc.

Regard,

Kenny

Oh yeah, what I forgot to tell.

I want to make a print of a Graph, don't know if that gives any problems?
