I just recertified the CLD today.
Which btw I'm still not sure why it expires when bachelor's degrees don't! Far more likely that you remember LabVIEW after 10 years vs whatever random classes you took in school.
ANYWAYS
15 minutes into my test, the proctor asked me if I was allowed to read all these documents and delete files.
WHAT?!
Why did I pay $300 if I'm educating the proctor!?
Whatever. Crushed the exam, probably 90%, even with 10% of my brain sapped with trying to avoid pressing control+w. EYE ROLL. I did hit it once btw and it took the proctor 5 minutes to notice it was closed -_-
Damn LabVIEW, I just can't quit you though.

I recertified a few weeks ago. I passed even though I thought I was marking five questions to go back later, but found out I was skipping them. (At the end I expected the test to show me the questions I marked to come back to, but instead I got a jolt when it said I was done with the test!) So I started out -5 right out the door and still passed.

Nice!
I actually didn't take take the CLD-R because mine expired in 2021, I had to take the CLD. As for CLD, I don't think it can be taken in person anymore. I took it online.

What did you think of the CLD-R btw? I was worried it would be harder then CLD thus I never did it. I just remember how stressful CLAD was 😬

It's multiple choice, and if you paid attention to the practice exams, you'll have no problem with the real one. Everything you need to know is in it. Now that it is online, you can study right up to test time; therefore, if you go over each practice exam right before you take the test, you should be fine.
