NI PCI 6024e AI stuck at saturation

I have PCI 6024E Daq card and im using labview 2010 and daqmx. My Daq card gives a saturation fix value while reading Analog Input values. I have even tried using a simple AA battery and reading its voltage by connecting it in RSE configuration but still it shows 10v. if i change the range to 5v then it gets stuck at 5v saturation. i have tried Test Panels from NI Max and also using DAQmx interactive app and DAQmx code in Labview. I also tried running the Labview AI example but still it does the same.

Then suddenly sometimes it starts reading correct values without changing anything and after that it work  normally until i restart my PC.
what might be causing this issue? Im a seasoned Labview and DAQ card user and i know i have connected the signals properly (Both on hardware and also in ) but the AI input keeps saturating.

The DAQ card is probably as old as your LabVIEW version (or even older): what about using the calibration service by NI (or 3rd party services)?

Yes, the daq card is really old, but it is well calibrated using an accurate source. When it is not stuck at saturation, it works fine within my acceptable error limits. The issue is with it getting stuck at saturation randomly without any evident reasons and starts working back again randomly

With old hardware you may encounter weird kinds of defects, like loose contacts or cracks in PCB copper tracks (sensible to temperature of the PCB)…

Tried to replace the DAQ card?
