No webcam source in vision acquisition express

I installed IMAQ and then I opened NI VISION ACQUISITION EXPRESS but I cant find any sources for webcams. I would like to use my laptop webcam ( HP product ). The webcam is fine, is there a compatibilty problem ? or does it require other drivers to be installed ? Please help . Thanks in advance

In a galaxy far far away (time of LabVIEW ~8.6) there was a USB camera driver for LV. I have successfully used it with the vision module, but it is discontinued and I dont have a clue about the compatibility with the recent labview versions. (as far as I can recall it still wont show up in vision express, but you can capture an image and process it with the vision VIs... Not sure though)

Starting in August 2009, Vision Acquisition Software officially supports DirectShow imaging devices as part of the IMAQdx driver. Please check this whitepaper for details.
