I am preparing a project on "Voice based Smart home System". Can anybody help me out with this please???

First start with some basic design steps:

What hardware do I want to control.

What hardware do I want to use. 

If my controller hardware is a PC, do I use a DAQ or the soundcard?

What software do I have to use, what can I use, what do I have to learn 😄

As Henrik encouraged you, try to improve your own idea. List what do you want to do. Check what you know, and search the answer of what you simply don't.
