[OT] multiple posts, same subject... please don't do it! (Not a rant - just some good advice)

This is not going to work at all. I think we have to live with double posters. The only option is to link it to the original post and ask him to continue in the same thread.

If you still feel people will pay attention to this thread and follow it, then please go through this

I'm already annoyed by this Windows Server thread and it has been stickied for about 2 hours.  Definitely wouldn't want to see a Posting Guidelines thread.

Exactly. In the past, I requested several times an option for us to unfloat a thread floated by the admin. I suggest you search the feedback board and add your voice to that request, so that Laura can ask Lithium about it again.

LOL, I looked at that sticky once, then ignore it.  They aren't there for people who already saw it - it's there fore people who haven't.  😄

I politely disagree with you.  A sticky Posting Guidelines post would be a good thing.  IMHO, of course.  🙂

Because it's not for me (I've seen it already) I should be able to get rid of it.  Float it back down as tst said.

Okay, yeah I completely agree with you on that.  No need to keep it sticky for us... well maybe keep it sticky for me because I'm notoriously forgetful.  😉
