I am unable to download the openG add on from NI website. Any help is much appreciated.

(Which LabVIEW version do you use? Which specific toolkit do you want to install?)

Any error messages? Access problems due to company firewall?

Did you try with a different computer or different ISP?

Did you contact JKI (as its their product)?

Hi Sir,

When I opend it with VIPM it is not showing any option to download.

I tried with different PC , same error is happening there as well.

How to contact  JKI ? If you could provide JKI contact details it would be helpfull!

I opened VIPM, and filtered by "openg". Then I opened the options dialog: when you then click on the "Help" button you will be directed to a website with a FAQ section. One FAQ is about "getting more support"…

When you downloaded and installed LabVIEW 2020, one of the things to install (I believe on the first NIPM screen) was VI Package Manager (a.k.a VIPM).  If you have installed it, you can find it on the Start Menu under the letter "V".

VIPM works with LabVIEW.  It needs to be able to run LabVIEW itself, and you have to configure LabVIEW to allow VIPM to work.  To do this:

1. Open LabVIEW. 
2. Click on "Tools" (menu bar) and choose "Options".
3. Click on VI Server.  Click (to put a check mark) in the TCP/IP box.
4. Close LabVIEW.

Now open VIPM.  When it loads, it should automatically scan for VI Packages.  In the Ribbon, there should be a box with a LabVIEW version on it (in the middle of the Ribbon).  Click the selector button and choose "Configure LabVIEW Versions".  You should see LabVIEW 2020 listed.  If Connection Verified is not "Yes", click the Verify button.  VIPM will now try to open LabVIEW 2020 (for which it needs to have TCP/IP enabled, as you just did).  When it succeeds, click the OK button to get back to the main Screen.

Scroll down to "OpenG Toolkit" (this brings is the most useful OpenG packages).  Double-click in the space just to the left of the name to start the Installation process.  Follow the prompts.
