Opening VIs in run-time with LV8.6

Hi Forum

Is there a way to force a VI to open in run-time mode in LV8.6? With LV 7.1 I could right click the VI and select either developer  or run-time, I don't seem to have that feature with 8.6.

Do you mean the "Run when opened" option?

If so, it is there in the VI Properties >> Category - Window Appearance >> Customize...

Not realy, with that feature, it is still the Developer Engine that is running the VI. Not the Run-time engine. Or at least the VI behaves differently.

My reason for asking is that I see different behaviour when I use "run-time" and "development" adapters in TestStand and would like to investigate the errors outside my TestStand environment.
