Opera Plugin?

Are there any plugins that allow Opera to access VI's remotely by the Web Publishing Tool, or are Firefox and IE the only supported browsers?

All available browser plugins are installed when you install the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine.  When I tried to view a Remote Front Panel in Opera the browswer crashed.  This is likely due to Opera being unsupported.  Have you experienced this same behavior?

No.

Upon initial installation of the LabVIEW runtime environment or development environment (I tested both ways), IE will work but Firefox and Opera will not.  Neither, however, will crash; they merely say "plugin not found."  In both cases, the browsers and LabVIEW stuff installation directories were allowed to remain at default settings.

I can make Firefox work manually (file copy-paste), but I see no Opera options.

My research on this topic gives every indication that Opera is not suppoted.

I suspected as much.   Okay, I'll put a note of that in my user's manual.

Thanks.

You might try again. Opera version 9.6 seems to have fixed the problem.
