I am desiging a VI that has couple sub VIs and controls to a haydralic machine. Part of the design is to output a trigger pulse at a specific time during a sine wave that is generated by a sub VI. I was able to output a trigger pulse but I was not able to time the trigger pulse correctly. In other words, in the current VI I can control the output of the trigger by a switch but what I want is to output the trigger at a specific time of the generated sine wave, for instance after one fourth of a cycle.
Please see attached the main VI and sub VIs
Thanks

Hi FaisalF,
You can try using Analog Triggering which would start a pulse when a certain signal level and slope are reached by the sine wave. There's an article that walks through all the different types of triggering. It will depend on whether you're trying to do software-timed triggering or hardware-timed triggering.
