Hi All,
New to stepper motors in general and struggling to wire up my NI-9512 DAQ (with 37-pin breakout board) to an STR2 stepper driver. I've attached the relevant pages of each spec here along with the entirety of the 9512 and STR2 manuals for reference.
The pin connectors from the STR2 driver are COM+, STEP, DIR, EN, OUT+, AND OUT-.
I believe these pair to COM+ (17), STEP (CW)+ (18), DIRECTION (CCW)+ (16), and DRIVE ENABLE (33) on the 37-pin breakout to the DAQ.
Is there a proper place for connection of the OUT+ and OUT- positions? Are these fault outputs meant to be connected to Digital Input slots on the 37-pin?
Any help is much appreciated.
