Plot legend size problem

Plot legend is set to Autosize. Although the plot names are of various sizes (from 1 to many, I used padding on both sides and checked the string length with the "string length" function) the legend does not become shorter that displayed on the picture. I have no idea what the problem is here..

did you switch off the plot legend autosizing?

It's an option in the graph appearance settings:

Did you delete the old graph and place a new one?

(This is the most safe option to get rid of weird graph problems…)
