Problem to use DAQ, NI 6501

I have a problem whit use NI 6501 and DAQ

I read data to a file and I separate the bit, and this is ok. I wuold write to Port 0 a signal and read the seame whit Port 1 but don't work.

i hope i understand it correct attached an example for this. External Port 0 must be connected to Port 1.
