Property node/Invoke node context menu help missing in 2024 Q1

Solved!
Go to solution

When right-clicking a property node in 2023 Q3 I get this (as expected)

But in 2024 Q1 I get this:

Is this a bug or is there some way of making this very useful help functionality work again?

EDIT: Cunningham's law is fast!

If I Recall Correctly, (memory test) That right-click menu option installs as part of DQMH??? Framework. One of those superb free Framework addins at least- I REALLY want to say Fabiola et al stuck that in.

That right-click menu for properties and methods existed for decades. Nothing to do with any addon.

Definitely not. This has been an integral part of LabVIEW property nodes for as long as they exist. It is dynamically created if the property in question has a valid help link defined.

My guess is that whoever implemented the crime of online help, did bork something in there.

Yes I did miss it. I know Murphy, and Dunning and Kruger, and also Dilbert, but never met Mr. Cunningham. 😁
