Question about compilation

Hi,

I have a (stupid ? :)) question about the labview runtime. Will a program run "faster" if it is built than if it was just executed directly ?

Hi Math_,

it depends

When you switch off debugging in the vis they run (more or less) as fast as possible and the same speed as in the executable.
Remember: even in development environment you always run compiled code! Only debugging (and other features) may influence performance...
