RS485 communication problem with CVM C5

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I am trying to connect via MODBUS RTU to a Circutor CVM C5 and I get code error 6002. I have been searching in the forums and I have read that it is "Illegal Data Address". I do not understand the reason of this error, I have tryed with a CVM C10 that it is supposed to be the same and it communicates correctly. I have also tested the communication with another CVM C5 and I cannot communicate so it must be a difference between both models. Do you know what it could be?

I attach the project with the vis.

Thank you in advance.

Just to clarify, I am connecting through a Circutor TCP2RS+. So the connection is TCP to RTU. And the parameters that I configured are baud rate 19200, no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit.

It is already solved. The manufacturer told me that the MODBUS address was wrong in the manual.
