Read/Write ASM340 leak tester with LabVIEW over RS232

Hi Community members,

I have limited experience with LabVIEW but enough to use the QMH to build applications for basic control + logging. I would like to read/write a leak tester from pfieffer vacuum with LabVIEW.

I Would like to start the leak test procedure and log the leak rate of the leak tester using it's RS232 port.

This I think should be possible with the advanced mode and long commands.

What I do not understand is how to translate the commands from attached document to strings that should be send over RS232.

Any help is welcome.

Best regards,

Twan

Hi,

have you got a program to read data from ASM 340? if yes, can you please share it here?
