Report Generation Toolkit not working with Office 365 version 2205?

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi there,

Since the latest Office 365 update forced by the company, Report Generatio Toolkit has stopped working. The Excel classes "Import module" and "Remove module" are broken (due to some API change on Microsoft side?) and there is no way to fix it by myself by reconnecting the invoke node to the API, since the two VIs are somehow not editable.

Is something that has been experienced also by someone else?

I have tested it in LabVIEW 2020 SP1 and 2022 Q3. I have also tried to reinstall Report Generation Toolkit but with no luck.

I was able to edit both VIs by going into VI Properties and changing Protection from "Locked (No Password)" to "Unlocked (No Password)". Hopefully a re-link will fix it. I opened up both VIs on my computer using LabVIEW 2020, 32 bit, and they weren't broken. Office365 version 2207 on my computer.

When the VI is open, you can also press Ctrl+M to put the VI into edit mode.

If you prefer the VI menu: Go to 'Operate' and select 'Change to Edit Mode'.

Thank you for the suggestions.

Unfortunately, relinking the property node did not fix the issue.

I managed to fix the issue by:
-Uninstalling Report Generation toolkit
-Repairing the Office installation using the "full online repair" mode.
-Rebooting the PC
-Reinstalling Report Generation Toolkit
