Report generation error in EXE

Solved!
Go to solution
Hi Community

I Reinstalled the Report generation Toolkit for some reason. after that some Vi's are broken so I changed those broken Vi's with the help of below links

Now I am able to Build the EXE but If I run the Application I cannot generate the Report file. In source code the report generation works fine. I can able to generate the Report file.

In EXE, if I try to generate the report file Error 7 occurs. Please find the attached screenshot for your reference,

Here I mention some possible solutions I tried from my side,
  1. Mass compile.
  2. Added the proper .lvclass files to my project and added the class files to the Always Included list.
Note:
  1. Excel is Licensed and the bit also same with LabVIEW bit (both are 64 bit).
  2. Reinstalled the LabVIEW + suit.
Please give me some solution to resolve this issue as earlier as possible.

Could you attach the VI that contains the "Create Report" function?  That seems to be causing the failure.  Are you providing a "Template" input?  Is the file accessible when you are in Execution mode?  [There are ways to handle external files that work in both Development and Execution modes ...].

Many long-time LabVIEW users aren't using LabVIEW 2024 yet, so it would be more useful if you could use "Save for Previous Version" and specify, say, LabVIEW 2019 or 2021 when you attach the requested file mentioned above.

The issue with report generation was caused by a corrupted template file. After replacing the crashed template, the system is functioning properly. This error was not related to the report generation toolkit or a LabVIEW issue, but was solely due to the corrupted template.

The issue is now resolved, Thank you for your assistance.
