Hi,

I see that you are taking in a .tsv and just adding a .xls extension so that you can use the Save Report to File.vi. Maybe this is causing the issue. Try converting the TSV to a format Excel can understand (.csv, .xls, etc) using online tools. Also, please upload the tsv you are using so that I can reproduce the issue.

On a separate note, the next time you want to send your code to someone and don't want to forget any subVIs or dependencies, you can do a Souce Distribution.

I can't reproduce the problem anymore.  When I can reproduce it, can I post on this thread again?

The example you linked to, I get an error when I click on it.  Can you link it more permanently or give the terms to search it out?  I have RGT for 2012 and Excel 2010 and all I want to do is open an .xlsx file an read data out of it.  Can't figure it out...
