Run two programs simultaneously

I'm trying to run two programs simultaneously: One is generating Digital pulse train output and the other one is processing the output. I'm using LV8.5, PCI-6035E, and BNC2110.

My problem is that when I try to run these two together, there is an error, "Device is not available for routing. It is possible that the device needs to be reset or that the device is being reset"

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

Actually, you'll need this to run LESSv2.8.

oops............i can not open few VIs as they are in LabVIEW 8.6....I have 8.5 only..........

i have few questions....

when you say processing output, what exactly you are trying to do?

i do not think that you are using DAQ resources in this VI.

did u try to reset the device one in the MAX?.....

I think I said something wrong.

The VI generating digital pulse will send the pulses to electrical stimulator. Then, the stimulator will stimulate the mulscl and we are getting signal from a load cell.

What I meant by processing output is to process the signal from the load cell, but not the pulses from the VI. Sorry for confusion.

I tried to reset the device on in the Max, but I wasn't sure how to use. Could you tell me how to use it?

Open Measurement and automation explorer.

go do DAQMx devices list and select the hardware you are using to generate. on the right side you wil see an optionn called "Reset device" click on that.

One question....run generator Vi separately and see the response of the VI.....
