SDK Error code -12 at Creating Merged Database During LabVIEW Installer Build

Hello, 

I am getting an error when building my installer as described here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/AFC375154EFBD6AE8625760B005FB723

I am using Labview 8.6.1 on Windows XP Professional SP3.

The problem is that I have already installed Microsoft Framework 3.5 SP1 (I actually have Framework 1.1, 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2 and 3.5 SP1, and Compact Framework 1.0 SP3 Developer and 2.0).

I have already tried to reinstall Framework 3.5 SP1 but it did not work.

I have also tried to repair the installation of National Instruments  Measurement Studio Common .NET Language Assemblies for .NET Framework 3.5 but it did not work.

Does anyone knows how to solve this problem?

I have read this somewhere

1. try installing labVIEW first

2. then install the sub-modules individually.

I have tried reinstalling LabVIEW, then reinstalling .NET Framework, then reinstalling the NI .NET Framework components but not of that helped....

I wonder if the only solution will be to reinstall windows and start all from zero....
