Sad about changed context menu in 2023 Q3

Dear fellow sufferers,

today I switched to 2023Q3 and first I discovered the change of the context menu when opening it on an input terminal. In former releases the first three items where "create constant", "create control" & "create indicator" and indeed these were the most used actions I had to take. They were there since LV2019 (don't know exactly) and I considered the introduction very helpful. Now we are back to the twenty tens again.

Q: some INI- switch available to turn back times?

P.S. This bug still hasn't been fixed: https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/BUG-LabVIEW-2022-Q3-cursor-on-context-menus-and-palettes/m-p/428210...

Use the new "Double-click to Finish Wire" or click/right-click to get a menu. Almost as good as the old days, but not perfect. Or you can now write your own "Quick Change List" to maybe improve on that.

Hi Dave,

I noticed those items missing from the context menu almost immediately too. They can be enabled again with PopupMenus.ElevateCreation=True in labview.ini

I found (well, for me as good as before): start wiring from the terminal, then right click.

Also try out double-click for the default item. See Labview 2023Q3 changes
