Glad you managed to find a solution. My work has turned up these links:
A knowledge base article with other links all to do with controll Excel through ActiveX.
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/56308664EB597E9E8625696500631D92
and the product page for the Report Genertion Toolkit: (you can download a free trial version!)
https://lumen.ni.com/nicif/us/evaltlktrpgn/content.xhtml
and finally, in LabVIEW 2010 you can right-click a graph and "send to Excel".

Best of luck with your application!

Thanks, I'm a little confused on one thing when working with the Excel VIs. Is there some way to generate the "Report In" that is an input into most of the VIs without using the New Report.VI? The reason is, I don't want to make a new report, I want to use an existing Excel file....

Nevermind, I have realized how to use that VI to open existing reports now.
