Screen freeze while adding Mydaq assist(DLLerror)

Dear all,

Since we need to use this program for school it worked fine for the first exercises.
But when i put the mydaq assist to the blank vi, labview freezes and i'm not able to click anything.
The only option left is to close labview.

When i looked into the error messages i saw something with the DLL files, so i re-installed the complete labview program including the drivers for the mydaq (elvismx).

I've already checked the internet for solutions but couldn't find anything that worked for me. Did try some registery cleaners etc.

In this post i included the log file, screenshot from the error message and my mxwLVAPI.dll file. I already tried to replace the mxwLVAPI file for another dll file but the version number was a lot lower then my version number..

I am running Windows 7 64bit version.

Could you share you LabVIEW VI that you are trying to use?

If i am understanding correctly you made a LV vi that included a DAQ assistant on a blank vi? And then the application freezes when you try to use it?

Hello Jelmer,

First of all thank you for your reply.
Yes, i'm opening Labview 32bits with administration rights. After that i click new project and then i select blank VI.

On the block diagram i right click with the mouse and select 'Measurement I/O' after that i select

'NI DAQmx' then i click 'DAQ Assist' and put that on the block diagram. When i put it ON the block diagram labview freezes..

Hopefully it clear things up.

Re-installed my OS which fixed the problem.
