I am looking to see if anyone has successfully updated the external calibration due date on a PXI card. I am currently running four cards that need to calibrated, and our production team would like to use the SW to help track the date cycle. I am using the following:
PXIe-5114
PXI-6115
PXIe-4081
PXIe-4082
I have been able to update the cal date on the 6115 using the DAQmx drivers, but to this point the scope and DMMs are getting the best of me.

To my knowledge, you would need Calibration Executive. See Calibration Executive Overview

I calibrate my scope cards (5922, 5900, 5124) and timer cards (66x2) .. no problem to update the date(s)
Just followed the cal-manual ( and add some additional, individual verifications). Maybe you missed the last important action option ?
Abort Calibration is the default value 😉

..calibration due date ...
Oh, you want to set the due date, well according to the help in MAX not all devices support to store a calibration due date, so it's calculated in MAX (and indicated as a recommondation, at least in the german version)
(didn't found the key where to generally or individually set it, just found a horrible (wrong) german help text)
For a software automation to check for a valid calibration status you would need a database that includes all your equipment to be traced (if you have any kind of acceditation you need to have something like that anyay, at least on paper for the accessor 😉 )
including the recalibration periodes (.. based on risc analyses, well, manufator recommandation included 😉 )
So you software should better only look for the actual last calibration date and check according to your documented QM.
