Specialty digital functions for daqmx

I'm interested in using my 9474's PWM specialty digital function using a cDAQ chassis in order to generate a 10Khz signal. Is this possible or are specialty digital functions only available through the cRIO? If these functions are not available is there another recommended method in which I can output a 10Khz PWM signal using DAQmx?

Did you try any of those PWM example VIs in the example finder with your cDAQ/9474 combination?
