Strain with NI 9237

Hello,

I'm measuring a strain gage full bridge with my 9237 and the resulting values have nothing to do with my calculation.

I used the daq assistant to create a strain task and set all needed parameters.

Why do I get different values if I change the excitation voltage? Are the received values really strain values or is it voltage? What do I have to do to get strain in µm/m?

greetings

If your bridge is out of balance the changing the excitation will effect the zero reading and therefore all other values (if you dont know why look into Wheatstone bridges).

How your values are returned depend on how you set up the DAQ assistant. If necessary you can create a custom scale in display strain in any units you want.

If this doesnt help and you have any other problems then post your code and I will look at it for you
