TCP connection to Azure IoT Hub without adding Trusted Certificate to TLS configuration

Hello,

From the Azure website, a current certificate on the Baltimore CyberTrust Root will expire in 2025 and must be migrated to the DigiCert Global G2 root. So, they ask me to add the new root certificate to my device. However, my device is successfully connected to Azure IoT without adding any certificates now. Is that mean the current certificate " Baltimore CyberTrust Root" is trusted by default?? Do I need to add their new certificate even when I don't add any certificate?

Current status: I succeed to build a TLS connection between my Azure IoT Hub and my LabVIEW device without adding Trusted Certificate like the following example.
