TDMS creating new files

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello!

I know that using the "Write to Measurement File" it's possible to select the option "Use next available filename" when a file already exist, so each time the program runs it'll create automatically a new file. Does someone know if I can do the same but with using the normal TDMS tools? I've tried modifying the Operation option of the TDMS Open tool (Open and Create, Create and replace, Create), but although I write an initial path for the file, everytime I run my program the data is being replaced or being written within the same file, it doesn't create a new file automatically, as I need it.

Thanks for your help! 😉

Hello!

It worked! it's a little more complicated than I thought, but I could understand the "trick" to change the path 😉

Thanks a lot!
