TTL waveform (pulse) generation with USB-6211

Solved!

Hello everybody out there using LabView,

Simple boxes like the NI USB-6008 have configurable digital I/O pins, which can of course generate pulses with a voltage equivalent to a TTL pulse, but I think they are not really intended for generating patterns of TTL pulses.

In my case, I would like to use these pulses to trigger a camera to acquire images synchronously to triggering an actuator with a TTL pulse with a time-delay.

In addition to a USB-6008, I also have a USB-6211 at hand, but I was not sure from the documentation in which sense its digital output pins are different from the ones of the USB-6008. However, I think it might be possible to generate patterns of TTL pulses, i.e. TTL waveforms.

Does anyone know in more detail to which degree the NI USB-6211 supports the generation of TTL waveforms or has maybe even already used for a comparable scenario?

Comparing the datasheets of USB-6008 and USB-6211, they have no difference in the digital output. Both support TTL.

Being a low-cost DAQ and M Series, both do not support digital waveform (hardware-timed). Only X Series like USB-6363 supports digital waveform.
