Table cell content limited

the content of a cell seems to be limited with what it can be filled to a certain amount of chars.

or at least the yellow overlay which shows what is inside (and what I am really interested in), see examples:

is there any way to increase that size (or space) of the overlay? or a workaround?

You could create your own "overlay":

• track the mouse movement over your table/MCLB indicator
• show/open another VI (an dmove its frontpanel to the right position) so it mimics the tipstrip behaviour…
