Testo 350 M/XL control unit - Testo 454

Hello there,

I'm trying to connect the Testo 350 M/XL control unit - Testo 454 with LabVIEW.

I've got a toolbox from Testo, but I have no idea how to connect these two.

I think I need to change some settings from the control unit for the communication, but I can't find anything online how this is possible.

Anyone who has some experience with this?

Thanks.

Joris.

I found their manual online on their website.

The unit apparently has RS232 and their own proprietary data bus.

Read the manual that comes with their software which apparently is based on .NET Framework

Hello Joris,

What have you already tried?

I got the toolbox for testo 350 from testo.

But when I open the vi, I got an error for a file that could load, so you can't run the vi.

Another problem is that I can't get the control unit (testo 350 M/XL-454) in remote.

Anyone that knows how this is possible ?

Regards.

Joris

Hello Joris,

- From where did you download the toolbox?

Is it publically available?

- Which error did you get exactly?

I've got the toolbox from Testo itself.

The error has something to do with Tcddka.Itcddk

As solution I found on a thread you've got to cut and paste it again, but that doesn't solve the error for me.

Hello Joris,

Thanks for the extra information, but I will need the exact error to be able to help you search for the solution.

Otherwise we are searching a needle in a haystack. (a smaller one, but still a haystack)

I have no idea what changed, but the error disappeared.

I still have a little question about de testo itself.

Is it necessary to change settings to be able to enable remote control?

greets

Joris

Hello Joris,

Do you mean with "remote control" communication over RS232 or their own proprietary data bus.

If you need to change settings, should be mentioned in their manual.

Which manual did you use?
