Trouble downloading LV 2009

I am able to download and partially install  LV 09, but when I try to open the app, I get an error msg saying "The installation of the application may be corrupt.  Use Add or Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel to attempt to repair this program".  When I go to Control Panel>Programs and Features, there are no NI (or Lab View) programs listed at all. This is strange, because I have Multisim, NI ELVIS and UltiBoard and they all work fine.  I've tried un and re-installing 3 times, with same results.  Please advise.  By the way, I am running Vista and have about 600MB on my "D" (partioned from C) drive.

You can try MSI blast for removing the NI components.

Are you using windows 7? Are you trying to correctly install the version required?

I am running Windows Vista and am using correct version of MpLab

Have you tried installing onto another computer that has no NI software? Have you tried turning off your anti-virus? When you reinstall are you using the same installer, or are you re-downloading it each time? This last part was unclear.
