I have a remote cRIO-9053 and I want to view a file on it located in home/lvuser path.
My steps are usually open NIMAX, log in to the controller, open up a file explorer, and then type in "192.168.1.1/files" to the file explorer path.
Then its just a matter of getting lucky. MOST of the time the web browser automatically opens up and asks me to enter in the username and password for the cRIO again, and then lets me view the file system from there. But I can't actually open up and view the contents of a .ini file for example in the web browers. So then, I'll usually have to restart my computer and try again, maybe it will work and let me view the files in the actual file explorer.
This problem has plagued me for the last 3 years. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or how I can fix this? I really need to get access to this .ini file soon and I'm having no luck.

Looking at files on the cRIO through the file explorer is convenient but I had enough issues similar to yours that I started using FileZilla.
