Tutorial for LabVIEW Classes?

I'm sure they're there, but I haven't found them.  I'm just looking for a step-by-step introduction to classes for LabVIEW.  "LabVIEW Introduction to OOP" was OK.  I'm watching the Thomas McQillan series, but it's driving me a little crazy trying to understand him, also he dives down in the Dynamic Dispatch business first, and takes a while to dig out.  Why wouldn't NI create tutorials for classes? I see the "Creating LabVIEW Classes" and "Developing LabVIEW Classes", but they're not tutorials or instructions.  Specifically, I haven't seen anything yet on how to add existing controls to a class.  Can somebody shine a little light?
