Update waveform segments via Omega Personal Daq 3000

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello to everyone, 🙂

I am having some issues with updationg waveform segments via my omega personal daq 3000.

The goal is it to generate a 1 Hz square waveform, which updates every cycle.

As I wanted to avoid generating a new waveform every cycle, I tried updating it.

In the example, which is given by omega, a waveform made up of 5 segments is generated, and then the third (index 2) segment is updated.

I have tried rebuilding it in a way that only one segment is generated and then updated, but I failed miserably.

Configuring the example VI in that way failed too.

Actually I am not even able to set the example VI  to update other segements than the third one.

I assume that "wavelet index" is the right point to set it, but if I set it to sth. other than 2 it just does not update anyting.

I can change the five segments of the waveform, and the update too, but I am not able to set the update to anything but the second segement.

I hope that it is just a simple setting to change, but I just can't find it..

Does anybody have an idea what I could try?

Thank you very much in advance,

Keksbold

P.S.: I have attached a file so you can see what the problem is:

5 segments: sine, square, triangle, sawtooth and noise, and for any reason I am not able to update any but the third segment..

Problem solved!

I do not know why, but removing the DAQIO wave status sub VI fixed it.

I would be really interested in finding out why the VI behaves like this anyway, so if anybody has an idea..

(But is not vital anymore 🙂 )

Thanks to everyone!
